How EVesto and ConnectNed simplified charging operations for nationwide expansion
This is the journey of ConnectNed, a leading Dutch CPO and MSP, and EVesto, an innovative EV charging platform provider, as they have grown together over time, deepening their collaboration and expanding impact step by step. From their first integration in 2020 to today, they have continuously advanced the state of EV infrastructure: refining processes, automating operations, and jointly unlocking new capabilities in leasing, home charging, and energy reconciliation. This partnership is not just about technology, it’s about evolving in lockstep toward smarter, more scalable mobility.
“We continuously look for ways to strengthen each other, you as the platform developer, and we as the service provider. That’s what makes the difference,”

About ConnectNed
ConnectNed is a charge point operator (CPO) and mobility service provider (MSP) with a nationwide network of electrical partners and a strong local presence. The company advises on and installs charging infrastructure for electric mobility, including integrations with energy generation and storage. From installation and maintenance to invoicing and energy management, ConnectNed offers a complete range of services. In addition, ConnectNed enables other CPOs to use its platform and services, allowing them to enter the market under their own brand name.
From collaboration to scalable growth
The collaboration between ConnectNed and EVesto began in 2020 with the adoption of the EVesto CPO platform. Initially, the focus was on building a foundation, selecting the right software and rolling out the first charge points. Today, the focus has shifted to the next phase: service optimization and scaling up.
A major advantage of our partnership is that ConnectNed can now offer its platform and services not only to its own customers but also to parties who want to become a CPO themselves but aren’t yet ready to set everything up independently. This is where ConnectNed comes in, facilitating a seamless transition.
The CPO can make use of ConnectNed’s services such as roaming agreements, invoicing, energy reconciliation, and 24/7 support, while working towards a fully white-label solution. This reduces time pressure and transition risks, while they gain hands-on experience with EVesto’s platform.
Over the years, both companies have evolved significantly, EVesto as a technology partner with a scalable platform, and ConnectNed as a full-service CPO and MSP offering end-to-end solutions. This combination is what makes the collaboration so powerful.
“We continuously look for ways to strengthen each other, you as the platform developer, and we as the service provider. That’s what makes the difference,” says Bram Pollmann, Managing Director of ConnectNed.”
Smarter processes for leasing companies
One of ConnectNed’s key propositions is the complete support of the fulfilment process for leasing companies, from hardware selection to installation and charge point management during the lease period. ConnectNed takes care of it all.
“The idea that a dealer or e-driver can order a charge point with one click and have everything automatically handled afterwards, that’s a huge step forward for us and our customers,” Bram says.
Each order is assigned to one of ConnectNed’s 35 regional dealers. This same dealer is also the one to visit the site in case of issues. For leasing companies, this means speed and convenience; for end users, a smooth installation and reliable service.
Thanks to the close cooperation between ConnectNed and EVesto, adding new functionalities like these is quick and straightforward, the lines are short.
Simplified administration with ERP integration
On the administrative side, major progress has been made. A direct integration between EVesto and ConnectNed’s ERP system means that customers now receive a single, consolidated invoice including all services, subscriptions, energy settlements, and, where applicable, charge cards and sessions.
This integration gives customers clear insight and ensures a consistent experience, strengthening ConnectNed’s professional market presence.
“We want customers to have one unified experience: one package, one invoice, one point of contact. The ERP integration makes that possible.”
Reliability through automation
Another example of joint innovation is the introduction of the charging session validation tool. Previously, employees had to manually review thousands of sessions, now the process is fully automated.
Transactions that meet predefined criteria are instantly approved; deviations are automatically rejected; and only uncertain cases require manual review. The result: greater reliability, fewer errors, and smoother payments, saving charge card providers a tremendous amount of time.
“The quality of our CDRs has improved significantly. I no longer have to sift through thousands of sessions, the system filters them for me. That’s a huge quality leap.”
Home charging for business customers
The partners also address the growing demand for home charging for employees. More and more companies want to provide home charging stations for their EV-driving employees, along with a simple, transparent reimbursement process for electricity costs.
With a joint solution, also available to other EVesto customers, the entire process is managed from start to finish: installation, activation, and automatic reimbursement of home energy costs to employees. This makes home charging a seamless part of fleet electrification.
Looking ahead: simplicity and scalability
Both companies see opportunities to make the EVesto platform even more accessible in the future. New installers, even those outside ConnectNed’s existing network, should be able to join easily. By further simplifying processes and the user experience, ConnectNed can expand faster and onboard more partners.
Plans are also in place for end users, a simple dashboard offering insights into charging behavior and costs, enhancing transparency and satisfaction.
“Not everyone sits behind a laptop every day. We want to make it so simple that new installers or end users can use the system right away. That’s where I see real opportunities,” says Bram.
A partnership that amplifies each other
The collaboration between ConnectNed and EVesto has grown into a partnership that goes beyond technology. EVesto provides the scalable and reliable platform, while ConnectNed delivers nationwide coverage, installation, and customer support.
“We literally complement each other. EVesto provides the platform and integrations; we deliver installation, service, and customer contact. Together, we make it complete.”
With a shared focus on innovation and process optimization, ConnectNed and EVesto continue to build toward a future-proof charging infrastructure in the Netherlands, and beyond.
