EVesto and CCV join forces | simplifying and future-proofing open payments for CPOs

EVesto and CCV join forces: simplifying and future-proofing open payments for CPOs

The EV market is evolving rapidly. With AFIR coming into effect, CPOs must enable open-loop card payments at their charge points, securely, interoperably, and at scale.
That’s why we’re proud to announce our partnership with CCV, part of Fiserv and a trusted expert in European payment technology.

Together, we are developing an integrated solution that combines open payments and smart charging, fully AFIR-ready and designed to streamline operations for our customers.

What does this mean for CPOs working with EVesto?
  1. Seamless implementation of open payments

CCV’s certified terminals connect directly to the EVesto platform. This allows CPOs to activate debit and credit card payments without complex integrations or certification processes.

  1. A powerful OCPI-based architecture

Our OCPI connection enables fully interoperable, future-proof payment flows. Ideal for roaming scenarios, multi-operator networks, and scalable growth.

  1. Faster onboarding & cloud monitoring

Connect, activate, manage, all within EVesto’s trusted CPMS environment. Real-time status, monitoring, and fault detection ensure less downtime and greater reliability on site.

  1. Growth without complexity

By combining CCV’s payment infrastructure with EVesto’s CPMS, CPOs can scale easily, onboard new locations faster, and stay compliant with evolving regulations.

Why this partnership matters

Open payments are becoming essential to a seamless EV charging experience. By joining forces with an established European payment partner like CCV, we provide CPOs with a solution that is:

✔ secure
✔ compliant
✔ easy to manage
✔ future-proof

All with one clear goal: helping CPOs grow smarter, with less complexity.

EVesto ensures full Mess- und Eichrechtskonformität for the German market

EVesto ensures full Mess- und Eichrechtskonformität for the German market

As the eMobility landscape continues to evolve, ensuring transparency, accuracy and regulatory compliance has become essential for operators, EMSPs and charging network owners, especially in Germany, where the Mess- und Eichrecht sets some of the most rigorous measurement and consumer-protection standards in Europe.

At EVesto, we are committed to delivering technology that not only empowers operators, but also meets the highest legal requirements in every market where we operate.
Therefore, we are pleased to confirm that EVesto is fully Mess- und Eichrechtskonform.

What does Mess- und Eichrechtskonformität mean?

The German Mess- und Eichrecht defines strict rules for how measurement data must be captured, stored, displayed and used for billing. Compliance ensures that:

  • Consumption values are accurate and verifiable
  • Data is stored in a tamper-proof and audit-ready manner
  • Start and end values for each charging session are transparent for the end user
  • Billing processes are legally compliant and fair
  • Operators can demonstrate full traceability and documentation to authorities

For EV operators, this is essential, they may only bill customers per kWh if the entire ecosystem (hardware + software) is compliant.

How EVesto ensures full compliance

EVesto’s CPMS has been designed from the ground up to support the requirements of the Mess- und Eichrecht. Our compliance includes:

  1. Accurate and validated measurement data

EVesto retrieves and processes meter values in a way that ensures consistency, completeness and auditability across the full transaction lifecycle.

  1. Tamper-proof data storage

All metering and transaction data is stored securely, including protection against manipulation or unauthorized modification. This ensures legal integrity of every charging session.

  1. Transparent access to metering values

Operators and EV drivers can access transparent start and end meter values. This aligns with consumer protection requirements and ensures trust in the billing process.

  1. Fully compliant billing flows

EVesto supports legally compliant invoicing, data aggregation and reporting, enabling operators to meet German regulatory obligations without additional integrations or manual checks.

  1. Audit-ready documentation

We provide a clear data structure for audits, technical inspections and regulatory reporting, ensuring operators stay compliant with minimal effort.

Continuous alignment with German regulations

Regulation within the German EV charging market continues to develop. EVesto is actively engaged with standards bodies, OEMs, CPOs and industry partners to ensure ongoing compliance as new requirements emerge.

We view compliance not just as an obligation, but as an opportunity to raise the bar for transparency, reliability and trust across the entire charging ecosystem.

EVesto celebrates 5 years of growth and welcomes new CEO Jeroen Veld

EVesto celebrates 5 years of growth and welcomes new CEO Jeroen Veld

we recently officially celebrated our fifth anniversary. What started as an ambitious idea has evolved into an international leader in Charge Point Management Systems (CPMS). We’re proud to mark this moment with an important step forward, welcoming Jeroen Veld as our new CEO.

Our growth over the past 5 years

When +EVesto was founded in 2020, our founders recognized a clear need in the market: an open, scalable, and truly independent CPMS solution for CPOs. From that vision, we built, technology, partnerships, and a global customer base.

Looking back, co-founder Sebastiaan Groeneveld reflects on the journey:
“Over the last five years, we’ve taken EVesto from an idea to a worldwide success, with a strong product, a rapidly growing market, and a team full of energy.”

And the numbers speak for themselves:

  • more than 20 team members,
  • 50+ customers across the globe,
  • Tens of thousands of connectors managed through our platform daily.

EVesto is ontinuously improving operations while delivering an ever-growing range of service capabilities

Why now a new CEO?

“This is exactly why the next phase requires new leadership, our ambitions are growing, and they require proven experience in international scale-up. To grow EVesto even further, we’ve found a new CEO with extensive experience scaling start- and scale-ups into their next phase.” – Sebastiaan continues.

That CEO is Jeroen Veld.

“We are thrilled to announce that Jeroen Veld is appointed as CEO. We look forward to another five years of growth and an even better product than it already is.” – Sebastiaan Groeneveld.
